      “Anche Amnesty International Taiwan ha messo in guardia il governo rispetto al fatto che ignorare rapporti così floridi con Israele in tema di cooperazione militare mette seriamente in discussione l’identità democratica di cui Taipei va orgogliosa. Il problema è che la logica nazionalista dominante tende a leggere qualsiasi critica al governo pro-indipendenza guidato dal DPP come un potenziale servizio a Pechino e questo rende la solidarietà con la Palestina politicamente pericolosa.”
