[IT] Human Security (HS) intende essere un punto di riferimento sui temi della guerra e della pace intesi in senso pieno, rimettendo al centro della riflessione sulla sicurezza il ruolo giocato dagli individui e dalle strutture sociali in cui essi vivono e operano. In questo spirito, il primo numero di HS mette in luce alcune criticità del modello convenzionale con il quale tendiamo a leggere crisi e conflitti, e mostra come letture alternative – per quanto magari complesse – possono essere rese operative nella pratica, trasformandosi in policy.
