[IT] Da qualche anno a questa parte “la crisi dei migranti” domina le testate giornalistiche e i media europei. Senza dubbio la gestione dei flussi migratori contemporanei è uno dei temi più salienti nelle agende politiche nazionali e internazionali. Le migrazioni sono però un fenomeno poco compreso. Come affermato dal sociologo olandese Hein de Haas, infatti, molti dei ragionamenti, delle discussioni e delle politiche in materia di migrazione sono formulati sulla base di falsi miti con conseguenze talvolta disastrose per gli individui che decidono per una ragione o per l’altra di lasciare la loro casa. Questo numero di Human Security tenta di superare questa impasse guardando ad alcune delle molteplici dimensioni e sfaccettature del fenomeno migratorio.
