Human Security (HS) is a quarterly journal investigating the extended concept of security and the human dimension of conflict. Launched in 2016, HS aims to provide the Italian public with a nuanced understanding of contemporary conflicts and security concerns, drawing attention to the role of individuals as well as the social structure they live and operate in. Each issue of HS is monographic, focusing on one specific issue or concern examined through a variety of perspectives, from both scholars and practitioners.
This report offers an overview of the HS issues published between 2016 and 2019, summarising the insights of a rich group of renown scholars, seasoned practitioners, junior researchers and activists on some of the most critical topics in the field of peace and security.
