[IT] Taiwan, ufficialmente la Repubblica di Cina (Taiwan), è oggi una delle più vibranti democrazie dell’Estremo Oriente, oltre che una potenza economica di rilevanza globale. La complessità del suo quadro identitario pluralistico, l’evoluzione politica che ha attraversato a partire dalla transizione democratica degli anni Novanta, e le sfide economiche e di sicurezza cui è esposta nell’attuale delicato quadro politico internazionale, sono gli elementi chiave da esplorare per comprendere gli equilibri presenti e futuri in Asia orientale e oltre.
