Seminal event organized by John Cabot University’s Guarini Institute for Public Affairs, in partnership with the Torino World Affairs Institute (T.wai) and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will focus on the unveiling of preliminary findings from the forthcoming report “Indian Policy Trends and Implications for Italy.”

This distinguished event will be chaired by the Guarini Institute Advisor, Pratishtha Singh, Ph.D., a renowned scholar in Italian literature from the University of Delhi, whose expertise and insight into both Italian and Indian cultural and academic landscapes are unparalleled.

We are equally honored to announce a panel of esteemed speakers, each bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in their respective fields related to Indian policy and its international implications:

  • Tommaso Bobbio, Associate Professor of the History of South Asia at the University of Turin, whose research and teachings have significantly contributed to our understanding of South Asian political and social dynamics.
  • Giuseppe Gabusi, Head of T.wai’s Asia Prospects Program and Assistant Professor of International Political Economy and Political Economy of East Asia at the University of Torino, known for his incisive analysis and extensive expertise in Asian geopolitical trends.
  • Diego Maiorano, Senior Assistant Professor at the University of Naples L’Orientale, Visiting Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, and Research Associate at the Institute of International Affairs, Rome, offering invaluable perspectives on the nuances of Indian domestic and foreign policies.
